CII Award for Customer Obsession 2019

LMES was honoured with ‘CII Award for Customer Obsession 2019’ as a recognition for its active customer engagement.

This annual award by CII recognises businesses that demonstrate highest level of commitment towards their customers following a ‘customer-first’ approach and continuously encourage customer-centric culture across their organizational value chain.

Rajesh Kaul, Founder and Director, LMES thanked CII for the award and emphasized that it drives them to further their commitment to transforming customer lives and their ecosystems through connectivity.

My India WiFi India Leadership Awards 2019

"LMES" won “My India WiFi India Leadership Awards 2019” under the category "Best WiFi Monetisation Solution".

The final awardees were selected by an eminent jury based on nominations received under various categories and we thank you for participating in the award nomination process.

The award ceremony held during the third edition of "My India WiFi India Summit & Awards 2019" held on August 20, 2019 at The Imperial Hotel, Janpath Road, Connaught Place, New Delhi. Besides, the event will also showcase presentations, panel discussions and whitepaper launch in the august presence of more than 200 top business leaders from government departments namely DoT, MeitY, TRAI, CSC, BBNL, Service Provider, ISPs, Vendor Community, Start-ups, Application Providers and Consultants from pan-India.

3rd APAC Express Wifi Partner Summit & Meet

Express Wi-Fi by Facebook project on Connectivity invited it’s partners for the 3rd Edition of the Express Wi-Fi Partner Summit & Meet on 16th April 2019. The agenda focused on the learnings and the best practices as well as included CXO round table meet with JBR sessions.

13th CMAI ICT World Communication Summit & Awards 2019

CMAI Association of India organized 13th CMAI ICT World Communication Summit & Awards 2019, in Vigyan Bhawan Annexe on 11th March 2019. The highlight of the International conference focused on digital citizenship skills and discussed New Technologies on topics like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, M2M, ITU-fibre based and data systems.

Key Government players and supporters such as All India Council of Technical Education, Government of India (AICTE), Association of Indian Universities, Government of India (AIU), Telecom Export Promotion Council (TEPC), Government of India, Government of India- Department of Telecom, Government of India- National Internet Exchange of India ( NIXI), National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT ) And several other international Industry associations and Universities participated in the event.

The event also witnessed felicitation of the best company in Technology driven ecosystem in rural and semi-rural areas. LMES (iConnectWe) was awarded as the “Best Company in Rural Empowerment/ Technology/ Innovation presented by Hon’ble Dr. Malcolm Johnson, Deputy Secretary General, International Telecom Union, Geneva - A UN Elected Body.

CII Rural Telecom Summit 2018

Confederation of Indian industry (CII) organized the Rural Telecom Summit 2018 in New Delhi, India.

This year’s theme for the summit was “Connect Bharat to Globe”. The summit aimed to discuss how rural development is of strategic importance for nation building. With the summit, CII aimed to get one step closer to digitally connect all of India’s villages and gram panchayats by broadband internet, promote e-governance, e-health, e-education and transform India into a connected knowledge economy.

Key players in the telecom and data space such as UTStarcom, Sterlite Tech, Z-Com, Akamai, BSNL, C-DOT, Reliance Jio, Fontech, LMES, Kenstel, Spirent, Alcatel Lucent Enterprise, Inmarsat, Quadgen Wireless, COAI, Broadband India Forum, ISPAI, TAIPA, The Mobile Association and Wireless Broadband Alliance, amongst others, participated in the event. Over 250 delegates from around the world were a part of this mega gathering.

The summit brought together guests and speakers from corporates, industry associations and government bodies. The key sessions revolved around profitable and sustainable business models for rural telecom and feasible solutions to accelerate development in these areas via connectivity.

Rajesh Kaul, Founder and Director, LMES, was one of the prominent speakers at the summit. He spoke about the critical role that telecom assumes in rural economic development and how cost-effective and scalable models can aid in achieving this goal.

My India Wi-Fi India Summit & Awards, 2018

The second edition of the annual My India Wi-Fi India Summit & Awards focused on highlighting the key trends and technologies in the Wi-Fi segment. The initiative brought together the industry eco-system to deliberate and chart out a progressive road map for transforming India’s digital society.

The theme, ‘Achieving 10 million Wi-Fi hotspots by 2022’ led the talks on collaborative approach bringing together all stakeholders like Government, Telecom operators, Internet Service Providers, Town planners, Enterprise Users, System integrators and allied sectors, to bridge the digital divide.

Digital India TELECOM Convergence Summit, 2018

The 6th edition of the Digital India TELECOM Convergence Summit, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), was held in the national capital on the theme ‘5G technology for the future’.

The Summit objective was to highlight the potential and the impact of 5G technology on the socio-economic growth of the country. The discussions majorly revolved around innovation fostered by 5G across industry verticals, IoT as the most anticipated usage-case of 5G, the challenges and way forward.

The summit brought together the who’s who of the industry with participation from all stakeholders including telecom and internet service providers, technology suppliers, users and infrastructure players, financial institutions amongst others. Some of the participants were Deloitte India, QuadGen Wireless Solutions Inc, Tech Mahindra, Bharat to India Connect, Verizon, Vodafone, Tata Communications, Qualcomm, Nokia, Samsung, Amosta, to name a few.

LMES was one of the Co-associate sponsors and an active participant in the summit.

mBillionth Awards South Asia, 2018

An initiative of the Digital Empowerment Foundation and in association with World Summit Awards DIT and NIXI, mBillionth Award, is the most influential & leading platform to explore, recognize & honour the best practices in Mobile & Telecom Industry across South Asia.

The 2018 awards focussed on the thrust on mobile technologies for delivery of meaningful services which could empower and enable efficient day-to-day life for the masses. The stress on last mile mobile content and the critical push required from governments to achieve this goal, was intensely deliberated on.

LMES was shortlisted for the award, for the iConnectWe initiative in its areas of operation to bridge the rural urban divide via technology intervention and efficient connectivity.

WBA Industry Awards 2018

The seventh annual WBA Industry Awards were held by the Wireless Broadband Alliance as a part of the Wireless Global Congress.

The Wireless Global Congress is one of the world’s leading events on next generation wireless service opportunities, bringing together leading players from fixed and mobile carriers, enterprise wireless and connected cities ecosystems, under one roof. Some of these included Intel, BSNL, Google, Liberty Global, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Global Reach Technology, Wi-Fi Alliance, LoRa Alliance, AT&T, Cisco, among others.

This year’s theme focussed on Enhanced Wi-Fi convergence with 5G, the challenge of delivering quality experience for in-home Wi-Fi and IoT for smart homes and tackling urban challenges with connected cities ecosystem.

The Industry Awards honour the exceptional progress made in wireless networks, smart cities and remote wireless deployment among operators and technology vendors worldwide.

LMES iConnectWe was shortlisted for the Best Wireless Deployment in Rural or Remote Areas Award.

Retailer Meets

LMES iConnectWe believes that local retail networks in our areas of operation are critical to creating the eco-system of technology revolution. Retailer Meets before specific area launches of Express Wi-Fi, are an important platform to bring together the local retailers, and sensitize them about the brand, the services and their larger impact.

The meet-up makes for an essential dais to share product information, tariff details and is an informative session for the local retailers.

In August and September, retailer meets were held in Bhawani, Mandi, Bikaner and Churu

International Yoga Day Celebrations

The employees celebrated Internal Yoga Day by engaging in collective yoga session, which aimed at de-stressing the employees, increasing productivity and improving interpersonal relationships.

Independence Day Celebrations

LMES employees basked in the aroma of freedom as they celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with traditional attire, food and some related activities.
